Deep Creek Canyon
If you love to study fossils and rock formations Deep Creek is a great choice. In the summers of 1966 and 1967 experts studied and identified fossil insects at Deep Creek Canyon. The large basaltic rock formations sometimes create an erie mood. Our family loves to take this hike because of the geology, wildlife, and history.
